Wednesdays At Shandon offers a variety of classes for children, youth, and adults. All classes begin September 10.
 
Adult WAS Classes
Exploring Faith & Spirituality Through Dreams - Room 209 - 6:30-7:15 p.m. 
God spoke to people in the Bible in a variety of ways; one way was through dreams. Come experience how God continues to seek our attention through our dreams and how one's spiritual & personal growth is possible through careful study. Class Facilitator: Linda Olson.
 
Living Simply - Room 204 - 6:30-7:15 p.m. 
Using the DVD series "Simply Enough" class participants will engage with others in an exploration of how we respond to God's call to live simply so others may simply live. Class Facilitators: Mike Leonard, Stuart & Mary Anne Massey.
 
Young Adult Bible Study - Room 214 - 6:30-7:30 p.m. 
This group of early 20s-30s will study the book of Romans, the pinnacle of Paul's writings in the New Testament. Included in this important book are profound insigths into faithful living and cherished messages of God's comfort and love. At 7:30 p.m. the class will gather for fellowship at The Flying Saucer, 931 Senate Street. Class Teachers: Hugh Jacobs, Sarah Roberts, John Cook, and Steve Earl.
 
Kerygma Bible Study 
The Kerygma Bilble Study that began in 2007 is now complete. A new class will begin in January 2009.
 
Youth WAS Class
Midweek Bible Study - The McDonald Youth Center - 6:15-7:15 p.m. 
This class is open to both middle and high school youth. The topics will come from the youth and by taught by youth advisors and Katy Schneider. Come learn how the Bible relates to your life and different spiritual practices. We look forward to seeing you there!
 
Children's WAS Classes
Arise Choir (K-2nd grade) - Room 202 - 6-6:30 p.m.  
Shine Choir (3rd-5th grade) - Room 202 - 6:30-7:15 p.m. 
Activities - Room 205 - 6-7:15 p.m. 
The fall WAS activities will focus on helping children "Love their Neighbors."
 
 
Reservations, Cost & Schedule
Reservations for supper are necessary. Call the church office by noon the Tuesday prior or place a reservation slip in the offering plate on the previous Sunday. You may also place your name on a standing reservation list, but please remember to cancel when you are not able to attend. Costs for the meal are $6 for adults, $3 for children under 12, and there is a $18 maximum charge for families.
