Columbia Teens Have Talent
For all those "Britain's Got Talent" and "America's Got Talent" fans, we offer you our own "Got Talent!" Yes, this will be a talent show featuring top teens from throughout the Columbia area. Our featured performer will be national champion storyteller, Rixon Lane from Woodruff, SC.
Preliminary auditions will be at 9 a.m. at Shandon Presbyterian Church on March 6. A panel of judges will select the talent to be presented, and a grand prize of $150 will be awarded to the winner of the performance on March 13, which will be held at 7:30 p.m. on March 13.
All types of performance art are welcome to audition: dance, music, storytelling, poetry, readings and acrobatics, etc. All performers must be at least 12 years old.
