How to Join Shandon Presbyterian Church
Shandon Presbyterian Church welcomes believers at all stages into its fellowship. If you are interested in becoming a member of this Christian community, we invite you to attend one of our quarterly Inquirers' Classes.
Inquirers' Class is specially designed to help prospective Shandon members learn about our congregation, its beliefs, traditions, government and programs. It is a safe place to ask questions about faith, questions about transitioning from another congregation or even non-belief, questions about raising a child in the church, or questions about receiving pastoral care.
Whatever your interest level in joining Shandon Presbyterian, we invite you to make plans to attend one of these Inquirers' Class sessions. Childcare is available for parents with younger children:
All Inquirers' Classes are held on Sundays during the Church Sunday School Hour (9:45 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. unless otherwise noted) in Room 206 at Shandon Presbyterian Church – 607 Woodrow Street, Columbia, SC 29205.
Dates of Upcoming Inquirers' Classes
Winter 2010: February 21 – March 14
Summer 2010: June 6-27 (Class will meet from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. because of the summer schedule)
We are also very sensitive to the fact that you may not be ready to attend an Inquirers' Class yet. That is absolutely okay. You are welcome as our visitor at worship services, fellowship activities and Sunday School classes anytime.
