Arts Carnival
Sunday, September 25
Noon to 4 p.m.
Join us on Shandon’s front lawn with your folding chairs & blankets for entertainment, fun and games. Proceeds from a barbecue fund-raiser will benefit the Senior High Youth mission trip to Central America ($10 adults, $5 children-11 and younger).
Feeding the homeless
We will assist the Salvation Army in providing the evening meal to the homeless on Sept. 16, 17, 23 and 24. Four to six volunteers are needed each evening at Ebenezer Lutheran Church from 4:45-6 p.m. A sign-up sheet for volunteers is at the church office reception desk. Blood Pressure Sunday
A registered nurse will be checking blood pressure in the church parlor 9-10:30 a.m. October 2. Stop by on your way to Sunday School or worship and take advantage of this quick-and-easy preventive measure. Blood Pressure Sunday is the first Sunday of ech month. The service is provided by the senior Adult Care Team but is open to anyone.

Save the date
The Columbia Pastoral Counseling Center will be having its annual garage sale on Saturday, Oct. 15. Please save any "treasures" for us. Heavy item pick up dates will be announced soon.
