College & Young Adult
College Students
College: big questions, worthy dreams. The Presbyterian Student Association, a ministry of Shandon Presbyterian Church, seeks to provide a safe environment where you may ask the big questions and dream worthy dreams.
PSA is a community of students of different faith traditions who come together to share our faith journey through Christian fellowship, fun, service, worship and witness.
PSA activities include Worship Sundays, Mondays Men's Bible Study, PSA Tuesdays, Wednesday Lunch Bunch, Thursday WomenSpace, weekly Mission opportunities and impromptu weekend fellowship and mission events.
For more information, visit us on Facebook (Presbyterian Student Association) or our Presbyterian Student Association website or drop by the Presbyterian Student Center, 1702 Greene Street, Columbia, (803) 799-0212. The Rev. John Cook, Shandon associate pastor for campus ministry, serves as the Presbyterian campus minister for USC and Columbia College.
Shandon Young Adults
The young adults at Shandon are a group of folks in our 20s and 30s. We
have a lot of fun and conversation, and we hope you will come out and
join us.
This summer we have several fellowship events planned.
June 1: Join us at 6:30 for a potluck and yard games at the home of David and Darcie Jones. We'll provide a meat, and you bring a side dish.
July 13: Leigh and Chris Oden will host another summer dinner and fellowship. (6:30)
August 23: Come to the Rev. Jill Duffield's for conversation, eating, swimming, and fun! (6:30)
In the fall and spring we enjoy Wednesday Bible studies at Shandon at 6:30 p.m. and eating out afterwards.
Contact our group at youngadults@shandonpres.org or e-mail Jen Rembert if you have any interest in our group! Or, feel free to give her a call! 423-220-9592
