PRESCHOOL CLASSES

Shandon’s Crib Room (107b) and Toddler Room (107) provide an atmosphere of love, warmth and acceptance, helping these children to establish positive associations with the Church.

Twos (Room 104) will be using the “Little Lambs” series by Faith Alive Resources. Its main purpose is to introduce young children to the Bible stories about God and his Son, Jesus.

Threes (Room 102) and Fours (Room 105) are using the “Wee Believe” curriculum developed by Presbyterians for Presbyterians. It builds foundations to help young children learn about God’s love for them. In “Wee Believe,” we want children to hear that God loves them no matter what. In the fall sessions, stories about Abraham’s big family will be explored. Children will be introduced to the family that started it all: Abraham and Sarah to Joseph and his brothers (and his sister!).

YOUNGER ELEMENTARY

Kindergartners (Room 114), First Graders (Room 109) and Second and Third Graders (Room 205) are using “We Believe.” The scope of the fall quarter is designed around the concept of relationships. Old Testament relationships explored include Cain and Abel, David and Goliath, and Ruth and Naomi.

OLDER ELEMENTARY

Fourth and Fifth Graders (Room 207) are also using “We Believe” and will also be learning about key relationships among Old Testament people.
